Asher debated for over three years at La Salle, Stanford Online, and Crescenta Valley High School. He qualified for the Tournament of Champions his junior and senior year, accumulating a total of 7 career bids. His senior year, he won the Jack Howe Invitational and was top speaker at College Prep. Additionally, he reached finals of USC, semifinals at College Prep, quarterfinals at Glenbrooks, Peninsula, and Damus, and octofinals at Harvard-Westlake, Berkeley, and Loyola. As a coach, Asher has taught at The Debate Intensive and works with independent debaters. He's most passionate about policy arguments and T/theory. Currently, he's a freshman at American University where he's studying international relations. Asher was a member of DebateDrills as a competitor and is excited to return as an instructor this summer!
