Marcus debated for two years at University School in Ohio, competing in Public Forum, receiving six bids to the Tournament of Champions and qualifying to the Ohio State Championship twice. He was ranked as high as 14 in the nation in his Senior year, and capped off his career by reaching finals at the TOC. Marcus over the summer worked at Public Forum Academy, worked for a summer intensive class, and coached two teams that broke at NSDA nationals. Marcus is a student at American University.
