Michelle debated for Little Rock Central High School for four years on the TOC circuit in both LD and Policy, captaining the team during her senior year. She's the first person from Arkansas to qualify (2x) and break at the TOC in LD. She won Isidore Newman and consistently reached late elims at St. Marks, Greenhill, Berkeley, JW Patterson and the Glenbrooks. She's passionate about all things kritikal (ranging from post-modernism to identity literature to the Academy K), but also enjoys teaching Policy-style arguments (CPs, T-FW, DAs).
