Sanjita debated for 3 years at Dougherty Valley in the Bay Area, California. Over her career she earned 9 bids to the Tournament of Champions, qualifying both her junior and senior years. After championing the UNLV Golden Desert Invitational and placing 2nd at the Stanford Invitational, she was ranked as high as 5th in the nation in her junior year. As a senior, she reached quarters the Emory Invitational and finals at the Berkeley Invitational. She championed the California State Tournament and was top seed and 5th speaker at the TOC, reaching quarterfinals. She has received top ten speaker awards at numerous tournaments including Stanford, Presentation, UNLV, and Jack Howe. Sanjita was captain of her varsity team, a volunteer instructor of their middle school program for two years, coaching over 75 students at national competitions, and taught at two high school camps this past summer.
