Max Perin

Max debated for 3 years at Sage Hill School, earning 14 career bids, qualifying twice to the Tournament of Champions, and winning the tournament his senior year. He will be attending UCLA this fall, where he plans to study political science and philosophy.

Throughout his career, Max won Meadows, Valley, the King Round Robin, and the Cal Round Robin, and reached finals of Stanford, Berkeley, Peninsula, Damus, UT Austin, and the DebateLA Challenge. He also competed internationally for the USA debate team for 2 years in the World Schools format. As a coach, Max has taught at the top lab of the National Symposium for debate, and his primary debate interests include policy arguments and international relations theory.
