Owen is a senior at the University of Kansas. In 2026, Owen was a NDT First-Round bid recipient and a NDT Octofinalist. In highschool, Owen was a TOC elimination and NSDA semi-finalist debater in high school. Owen has also coached at Shawnee Mission East high school and currently also coaches at the Pembroke Hill School. Owen teaches policy debate.
