Zion debated for four years at Strake Jesuit and two years in policy at Harvard. Zion championed the 2021 Tournament of Champions and was top speaker in 2020. He won the 2022 Dukes and Bailey and championed the 2021 TFA State tournament. He championed and was top speaker at numerous major tournaments, including Greenhill, Glenbrooks, and Harvard. At Harvard, he earned a first-round bid to the NDT and cleared to the Sweet Sixteen. He mainly read Ks and positions about antiblackness but enjoyed reading theory, T, and getting creative with identity politics. At Harvard, Zion studied History & Literature and African American Studies. Zion has coached multiple students to elimination rounds of the TOC, including a TOC finalist.
