Tom has been coaching PF for five years and has lead labs at NSD, Public Forum Boot Camp, and UC Berkeley - dozens of his students have qualified for the TOC. As a competitor, Tom debated as both at first and second speaker for Park City High School, where he amassed 8 TOC bids and qualified to the Gold TOC twice, including in his first year of PF. Most notably, he won Alta Silver & Black, reached semifinals at Stanford, and made deep elimination runs at Glenbrooks, Apple Valley, UK Season Opener, Mid America Cup, UNLV Golden Desert, and Yale. He holds a BA in economics from McGill University.
