Owen is a rising junior debater at the University of Kansas, double-majoring in political science and environmental studies with a minor in intelligence and national security studies. Owen has broken at multiple college major tournaments, and was a TOC elimination and NSDA semi-finalist debater in high school. Owen has also coached at Shawnee Mission East high school and currently also coaches at the Pembroke Hill School. Owen teaches policy debate.
